About THE HEARD...

"The Heard" is a 10-piece horn band booking out of Nashville, Tennessee. The concept for "The Heard" came from a great horn band of the early 70's of which Rick Stone and Randy Janoski were founding members. The rest of "The Heard" are a group of mature professional musicians that came into the group to perform the music they love and grew up listening to...and what happens to be in the biggest demand today. Consisting of a four-piece rhythm section, a five-piece horn section, plus a female and male vocalist, The Heard performs older R&B, Motown, Soul, the big horn band hits of the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and today from groups like Chicago, Tower of Power and Blood, Sweat and Tears. The Heard also performs classic rock, pop hits and swing music. Several of the members that make up "The Heard" have played with major artists, both here in the United States and in Europe. In fact, some of the members have played on the original hits that you will hear at one of their shows.
